At NZ Clothing Direct, we’re dedicated to giving our customers a fair, rewarding and enjoyable shopping experience.

SHIPPING POLICY

Delivery within New Zealand is by NZ Post and PBT Couriers.

  • After you have placed your order, we send you an order confirmation to the email address provided at the time of purchase.

  • When we dispatch your order, you will receive an email with your tracking code and link NZ Post/PBT Couriers track and trace service.

  • On our behalf, emails are also sent automatically by NZ Post/PBT Couriers.

  • Please remember to correctly enter your delivery address and your email address

Standard delivery within New Zealand is typically 2 to 3 business days to major cities.

Orders made within 2 days of a public holiday or during sale periods may take a little longer to arrive (up to 5 business days). Also allow an additional 2 business days for deliveries for rural areas.

Tracking is supplied by our delivery partner(s) – you’ll receive an email with a link once it’s dispatched, which will allow you to choose from things like delivery options or to redirect to another address. You also release NZ Clothing Direct from being directly liable if you should supply an incorrect address or a parcel is stolen from your property after delivery.

Authority to Leave: Parcels delivered through NZ Post/PBT Couriers are classified as Signature required unless notified at the time of the purchase. Authority to Leave means, orders at the address provided can be left, whether attended or not. You also release NZ Clothing Direct from all liability in an incorrect address is supplied or a parcel is stolen from your property after delivery.

Impacts on delivery timeframes: Transport schedules may add another day to next day services between some towns and cities. Delivery to rural address can add between 1-3 days to the standard targeted delivery times.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it as soon as possible (within 30 days), in the same condition it arrived in (complete with tags and packaging) along with Proof of Purchase.


We cannot accept returned items of clothing that have clearly been “worn” i.e. in use beyond trying it on for size.

Please complete details found on the returns form with your returned item(s).

Return delivery/shipping will be at your expense, but we will send replacement item(s) free of shipping charge. Please package it securely to prevent damage during its return journey.


If you received a product as a gift and wish to exchange it, please note this in large writing in the comments section on the returns form and let us know who gave it to you. This enables us to process the exchange with discretion.


If you are returning your purchase for a refund, please note that it will exclude the the flat fee of $15 for shipping and processing. Please allow 5-10 working days for us to process your return once it’s received by us. We will notify you by email when we have processed your refund.

If you have tried to purchase any items outside of our service/delivery regions or country (New Zealand) we will cancel your order and refund your payment less the Stripe service and payment fees

DELIVERY ERRORS and/or FAULTY PRODUCTS

Please contact us immediately. If you can include a photo of the faulty product in your email, it would be most helpful, as it will speed up the process of putting it right for you.

We are committed to complying with all obligations under consumer law. Any rights you have under this policy in relation to your NZ Clothing Direct purchase are additional to any rights you may have under consumer laws.

Returns & Refunds - Terms and Conditions

  1. Goods must be returned in unused condition with original packaging and tags, along with proof of purchase within 30 days of purchase date.

  2. When returning an online purchase, the original delivery charges will not be refunded.

  3. For change of mind returns via post, NZ Clothing Direct does not cover the cost of delivery back to our warehouse; you must cover the cost of postage.

  4. When returning an item to us by post it is your responsibility to return the item to us in a safe way – NZ Clothing Direct is not responsible for items being returned to us that are lost or damaged in transit.

  5. This policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your rights under consumer laws.

Our website uses third parties cookies (Google Analytics) which place a cookie on your internet enabled device when you visit our website. This enables us to advertise on third party websites to previous visitors to our Website and provide to us information that will help us to improve our website accordingly to our users experience. 

Any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.
This information its aggregated and does not collect personal data or information about the user, therefore it cannot be used for marketing, though aggregate cookie and tracking information may be shared with third parties.


Do we distribute the data?
The personal data collected from submissions via the email links is not sold, or disclosed to any third parties.

What security measures due have in place to protect data?
NZ Clothing Direct uses technological and administrative security measures to protect your information. All data collected through our website is communicated by internet via HTTPS. Additionally, all data is stored in encrypted databases managed by Weft Knitting Company and Wix.com Ltd. and periodical back ups are done to minimise the probability of losing information if the storage system fails.

What happens if there is a violation of our system?
If a violation in our system occurs, that results in non-permitted access to your data by third parties we will contact you by email.

This privacy policy can change depending on legislation and technology updates. All changes will be added to this document and available online.
